Gustar

When using gusta you don’t conjugate like most other verbs, the verb stays the same.

Me gusta(n)….
Te gusta(n)….
Le gusta(n)….
Nos gusta(n)….
Os gusta(n)….
Les gusta(n)….

The verb can be followed with another infinitive verb, for example.

Pronoun + gusta + verb infinitive
Me gusta cocinar
I like to cook

The verb can be followed with a singular noun, for example.

Pronoun + gusta + singular noun
Me gusta la salsa
I like salsa

But when the verb is followed by a plural, the verb needs suffixing with n, for example.

Pronoun + gustan + plural noun
Me gustan las hamburguesas
I like hamburgers

For a negative you can prefix the sentence with no, for example.

No me gusta la sal

And if you want a emphasis you can use the below.

A mi + me gusta(n)….
A ti  + te gusta(n)….
A el  +  le gusta(n)….

¿Te gusta el queso?
Do you like cheese?

Si, me gusta el queso
Yes, I like cheese
